Each year the 4th grade students at our school go to Camp Carter for two days and one night. The teachers, principal, nurse, and lots of chaperones go too. The kids get to do a lot of science activities, sleep in a cabin, hike and be outdoors. Afton really wanted me to go with her-- so I did :)
It was wet, muddy and rainy the first day. But the second day- the sun came out and it was really nice. I am still not a 'fan' of camping. But I will do anything for my kids. I am glad I got to experience Camp Carter with Afton. (PS- she had a blast!)
