Santa- I know him!!

Kicked off this week with some family time. Big kids, little kids, grandparents too.

Then it was onto a special appearance by Santa at HES. Santa decided to visit on the 'pig kissing day'. Our principal agreed to kiss a pig to help with fundraising at our Fall Festival. It was quite the event. Bamm Bamm was a large hog who loved pancakes, carrots, and kisses :) Thanks for visiting our school "Grandpa Santa".

The Nutcracker & Breakfast with Santa 2017

The third weekend in December was all about the Nutcracker. This was Maisy's third year to be a part of this amazing ballet. She auditioned in September and was cast as a 'party girl' and 'medium sized clown'. The has spent between 2-4 hours, every Saturday since September rehearsing for this ballet. So it only makes sense that when the big weekend arrived, it consumed both a Friday and a Saturday.

Friday was the dress rehearsal from 4pm-10pm.

Saturday, we woke up early for Breakfast with Santa at HES.

And then it was the big show! There was a 2pm show and a 7pm show. Maisy had lots of fans come support her at both performances.

It was such a beautiful show, my favorite Nutcracker yet! I am proud of our ballerina!

December Happenings 2017

This has been such a fun, fast month!

We kicked it off with Maisy getting her ears pierced! She finally decided those dangly earrings were worth it :)

These two cuties are my partners in crime all the time. My two best blondies. Jeff travels a lot during the week, so I don't know what I do without these girls. They are patient with me and are so loving.

Afton's dance team performed in the Grapevine Parade of Lights. It was unbearably cold that night, but we managed to make the most of it :)

We made all kinds of gingerbread houses- one on Mrs. Keith's door and real ones with friends!

Maisy had her first gymnastics meet- ever. She loved it and did SO well! We are proud of you Maisy Lou! She takes gymnastics with her sweet friend Reese.

One Friday night, we did our own "Polar Express" night- complete with cute pjs, tickets, homemade cookies, hot cocoa, and of course watched "The Polar Express" movie.

Here is our 'date night out' at the annual WOHA Christmas party.

And we have been out and enjoying the December weather - I know some people might want snow. But you can't beat this!

Can't wait to see what the rest of the month holds!
