Around here, we don't do 'Birth-DAYS' - we do 'Birth-WEEKS'!
Because it's always more fun to keep the party going.
We kicked off Maisy's birthday week on a Saturday. We took her to Ikea and got all new things! Her big birthday wish this year was a complete 'room make-over'. So Jeff set to work to get her room done before the big party on Saturday. He worked all week to repaint the room and build all the things we bought from Ikea.

On Sunday, Mimi took Maisy out for a day of shopping. They came back to our house for a birthday dinner. Complete with a cookie cake.
On her actual birthday, which was a Wednesday, we took her to dinner at Rio Mambo!
(And while he was busy building furniture, painting, working... Jeff made time to take Afton & McCall to the TCU vs. Tech Volleyball game. #raddad)
Just in time for her big bash, the room was complete! Here are the after pics.
