It's Mardi Gras Season! So we took the girls to Shreveport for The Krewe of Centaur Parade. We made a stop for king cake and grabbed lunch at the Blind Tiger.
Then we walked to the floats and met up with Jeff's old boss- Kevin. He was nice enough to let us tour the float and gave us some extra throws too.
We got settled just in time for the parade! Both girls were very serious about catching throws. Afton loved the beads and Maisy was all about the special throws- stuffed animals, crowns, etc.
After the parade was over, we walked the 1.5 miles back to our hotel. Over the majestic Shreveport bridge... :) just look at that water!
We went back to the hotel to count beads and eat king cake. Then we went out to do some shopping at the outdoor mall. We ordered in Johnny's pizza and ate in the hotel lobby.
The next morning we met JP & Val with their kids for breakfast. And then we took our girls to "Gators & Friends"... because you can't leave Shreveport without stopping here! Ha!
It was such a fun weekend! Love getting to gon on little adventures like this with our girls.
