Happy 8th Birthday to Maisy

Our sweet Maisy Lou turned 8 this month. I know that 8 is not "old", but it kind of feels that way. Maisy has grown into such an adorable, sweet, smart girl. Maisy loves to eat buttered noodles, pizza, chocolate ice cream, peanut m&m's, popcorn, bacon, and rainbow goldfish. She loves dress-up, pretend, babies, dolls, Barbies, all things ballet, gymnastics and cheer. She loves to read books, snuggle, be funny, and play with Afton. She is a delight to everyone she meets. So of course, we had to celebrate her in a big way.

Her party was at Skate Town, we rented it out so that she and her '30 closest friends' could have the whole place to themselves. She chose the 'Sock Hop' theme because of these saddle shoes. She needed an excuse to wear them. So we had a party!

The kids skated, ate pizza and cake- and had fun. It one of the easiest parties I have ever hosted!

The next day was Columbus Day, so no school! We took Maisy horse-back riding as our gift to her from the family. She has been wanting to do this since she was 4. It was worth the wait!

Happy Birthday sweet Maisy Lou!
