Last Day of School - 4th & 8th Grade

Well, we did it! After 11 weeks at home, the school year wrapped up. It was a little bit strange- just a 'goodbye' WebEx for Maisy and then I don't really know what for Afton.

I wanted to at least celebrate, so I hosted two separate 'end of school swim parties' for the girls and a few of their friends.

After Maisy's swim party, we went over to Charles & Jennifer's house to wish Ellie at happy 8th birthday. She was so happy to see the girls.

To kick off our first weekend of summer, we finally got to take our boat out! When everything closed down, Marine Max closed so we couldn't get the boat 'de-winterized'. After things began to open again we had to wait some more. But Saturday was our day! The girls tubed. Jeff and Afton wake-boarded, and I sat in the sun.

On our first Monday of summer, Maisy started her three weeks of "Dyslexia Summer School"- done at home. I am trying to make it more fun with things like writing on the windows etc. Wish us luck!

And Maisy started her summer ballet classes. She was so happy to be with her ballet friends.
 Masks and all!

Happy Summer to all!
