Afton was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at CTMS. So proud of her for earning this distinction based on her grades, leadership, and community service background. She filled out the application all by herself- she is getting very independent. She will be part of the organization for a year - it requires 10 hours of service work and various campus commitments. Several of her friends were invited to join too, she is in with a good group of girls.
Afterwards we had dinner and dessert at Italianni's to celebrate. Pretty fun Tuesday night!
