Holiday Happenings 2018

Guess who was a shepherd in the ‘live nativity’ at the Whites Chapel Church Christmas Festival tonight??? Maisy loved performing three times- and had a lot to tell me about the ‘behind the scenes’ antics with the animals 🤣. The baby goats cry a lot, that chicken is a bit pecky, and the bunny was sweet. Afton and her friend Sarah enjoyed all the carnival rides in between shows. And we ended the night with some pretty spectacular fireworks. We all left feeling ‘warm and fuzzy’ with Christmas spirit.

We also had fun at our first NCL Christmas Tea.

My ‘skinny Santa’ is such a good sport about getting up really really early to drive Afton to basketball. She is living the Christmas dream with all her Nutcracker preparations and Santa shenanigans.

Love my PTA ladies! We met for our December board meeting and enjoyed great food, lots of fellowship and a fun gift exchange. These ladies work hard all year long to support our school community. So proud of our PTA.

Afton made me the most delicious m&m cookies. She is a sweet middle school kid!

HES PTA Breakfast with Santa 🎅🏻 It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I didn’t get a pic of both my girls with Santa because they were running between a basketball game and church rehearsal. Jeff and I were doing the “divide and conquer” thing that day.

And Maisy got to be  a shepherd  again- this time inside the church at White’s Chapel “Christmas Experience” service ❤️. The Grandparents came out for Saturday night church and to join us for dinner afterwards. It all begins and ends with Jesus.

And then we did Sunday Funday at Enchant in Arlington. The lights were beautiful, but my favorite part was Santa! Jeff's sisters and mom organized the outing. The kids had fun together.

Such a fun Christmas season so far!
