New Years Eve 2014

The 'eve' of New Year's Eve we started the day with a little shopping at North Park mall. These two are just keep getting more and more fabulous don't you think?

That evening, Jeff took us out to a nice Italian restaurant in Southlake to celebrate the new year and his promotion at work. It was fun to celebrate Jeff's new job as a Regional Manager. He has worked so hard, I am can't even explain how proud I am of him.

The next day was the big TCU bowl game. Of course TCU won! Must have been all these 'future frogs' that helped cheer them on to a big win.

That night, on New Year's Eve, we went to a friend's house from school. The party was for both kids and adults :) It was fun to be with so many families from our school. There was food, a candy bar, karaoke, and Afton's favorite--- LCR. She won $21 playing :)

At midnight, the balloons dropped and we all toasted! 2015 is going to be a great year.

Christmas 2014

On Christmas Eve, our girls got to help with the Children's Service. Both girls sang in the choir. And Maisy was an angel, while Afton had several lines in the story of Jesus birth. It was so precious.

After church we had lunch with GranDanny, Mimi, Grandpa and Grandma. Then we went back to our house to open gifts with Mimi and GranDanny.

That evening we went to Grammy and Gramps house to exchange gifts and celebrate Christmas. Grammy made enchiladas and there lots of cousins to play with.

We went home and set out the cookies, milk and reindeer food. Coco waited up for Santa to arrive.

The next morning, the girls awoke to presents from Santa.  An American Girl Doll stroller, tea set, Sophia dress, and high heels for Maisy. Shopkins, a GAP sweatshirt, scented lotion, a mood ring and personalized bracelet for Afton. Grandpa and Grandma came over for Christmas breakfast. I made my first homemade cinnamon rolls and we served them with eggs, sausage, fruit and bacon. Super healthy! :) :)

That evening we took the girls to see "Into the Woods". It was a great Christmas day for sure. Over the next few days, we hung out around the house. We did silly things like play 'Pictionary', sang karaoke, and did some shopping.

We got together with cousins too! Molly :)

And Ellie and Lula too!

It was a pretty awesome Christmas!
