Maisy competed for the first time in January. She performed a solo - a variation from Act 1 of Swan Lake. She has worked for months on this piece and she was amazing!!
Due to COVID restrictions, no one was allowed inside except for the performers and one teacher. Soooooo we all cheered Maisy on from our phones and laptops. I sat in the parking lot with some of the other dance moms and we watched our daughters perform via live stream on our phones. Crazzzzzzy!
And to keep Maisy 'COVID -free' during the week leading up to ballet, she did not attend school in person. She switched to remote learning. (I know... crazy. again. It's all crazy.)
Maisy was also part of a trio ensemble and two large ensembles with her company. She really enjoyed the experience and we look forward to next year when we can watch her - in person.
Maisy dances 12 hours a week. She is very dedicated and loves not only ballet, but her ballet school as well. I am excited to see where ballet takes her.
