Fourth of July 2015

Jeff and I got back from our trip the evening of July 2nd. Our first order of business was to take the girls to get some fireworks!

We tested a few out that evening and found Maisy really hates the sounds. Good thing we didn't buy any really loud ones!

The next day we prepared for our party. The girls and I made shirts, decorated bikes and got the house ready.

Then we went to Town Square for dinner and fireworks.

On July 4th we had a neighborhood parade, swim party and then did our own little fireworks at the neighbor's house.

Why aren't there any knock-knock jokes about the 4th of July? Because freedom rings! Lol! 🇺🇸

Fourth of July 2013

The Fourth of July party lasted several days this year.

On the Third of July, the girls and I joined some church friends for a day at Hawaiian Falls.

That night we headed to Town Square. Lots of friends, dinner out, games, and then fireworks.

AND Guess who finally watched fireworks, without covering her ears??!

BOOM!
On the actual 4th of July, we spent the day swimming at Grandpa's house and then drove over to watch the Grapevine fireworks from a far.

We wrapped up the weekend with a movie date to see Despicable Me 2.

And then we enjoyed swimming and dinner with our friends the Woods.

Celebrating Independence Day for 4 days-- pretty nice and exhausting :)

Fourth of July 2012

For the third year in a row, we headed to Southlake Town Square on July 3rd for fireworks. We got there early and enjoyed some crafts, games and dinner.

The girls also took in 'the big slide'. Maisy has gotten as brave as Afton!

We finished the holiday with swimming and a cook-out at Grammy's.

Happy Fourth of July!
