Spring Flowers, Fashion, and School Adventures

Maisy and some of her WCKids friends got together for Humanity Missions - they planted flowers in front of Founders Chapel after church one Sunday. Maisy has really enjoyed going to Sunday School and helping with mission projects once a month after church this year. Love to see her spreading joy by beautifying our church.

The girls and I went to see “Shrek Jr.” presented by Cross Timbers Middle School at the GHS Auditorium. It was such a great show! We loved the acting, the music, the dancing, and all the costumes. I never knew a middle school theater production could be so good!

Took my girls shopping @fleastyle market one Saturday morning in Dallas. (Jeff was playing golf!) Lots of unique fashion finds- most of them tucked inside the cutest couture campers we have ever seen. I was most excited to meet the @ascotandhart girls. You may recognize them from @targetdoesitagain. They were so genuine and kind! We bought a kimono, trucker hat, leopard sandals, and two hair ties. I felt like we were walking through Instagram squares all morning.

Here’s Maisy, living her best life. She was honored to serve as the "Assistant Principal for the Day" at her school. She got an official name badge, walked over 16,000 steps, helped all the classes, had Whataburger for lunch and learned the ‘ins & outs’ of being a school administrator. Thankful for Mrs. Gerdes for making her day so amazing. And a biiiiiiig to ‘the grandparents’ who all chipped in to bid on this awesome Silent Auction package! #bestdayever

Relaxing after a hard day as "Assistant Principal".

More school fun... the 3rd Grade Field Trip to the Fort Worth Science Museum.

Our favorite day... the Recycled Hat Contest! Maisy wanted to make an entire dress! Love her fashionista style!

Cinco de Mayo with Afton and Jeff :)
