Finally- on the Lake!

We have had record rain around here. The lake is over 16 feet above normal levels. But on June 30th- we finally got to take our boat out, the first time all summer! With all the rain, our lake has been too high to put in. But finally it was our day! Sunshine, swimming, wake boarding, friends and smooth water. 

It was so fun- we went out again, three days later! This time we took Afton's friend Helena.  She loved tubing just as much as my girls. Afterwards we went out to dinner on Main Street for burgers and tots,  shopped for Fireworks and then did our own 'show' on the driveway. Great memories made.
