Back to Cinnamon Shores- in 2019

It's been a few years since the girls went on a beach trip. They have been on the lake a ton, but not to an actual beach. So we planned a trip to our favorite Texas beach! We got on the road right after VBS ended on Thursday and drove down to Port Aransas. Took the ferry to the beautiful Cinnamon Shore. Afton brought her friend McCall. We were all excited to spend a few days relaxing on the Texas coast! 

Friday : Beach fun all day! Sandcastle building, catching waves, lots of swimming, driving the golf cart, and sunset dinner on the water.

 

Saturday: It was a wiiiiiindy day at the beach. Girls took surf lessons in the morning and we alternated back & forth from the pool to the sea all day. Maisy was thrilled to find her friend from school! Jeff made his famous nachos for dinner and we wrapped up the night with live music under the full moon. Can’t beat a Saturday like that!

Sunday: It was a happy Father’s Day for Jeff. Sand, sun and a dinner date out too! The girls stayed home and had Whataburger :) 

Monday : Last Day at Cinnamon Shore! We woke up to a crazy rain storm but the sun came out & it ended up being a beautiful day. We swam in the pool, played at the beach, and built sand castles. Then we drove the golf cart to town for souvenirs- custom t-shirts, candy, and two hermit crabs. Such a relaxing vacation, we made some great memories.
