Afton turns 13!

Our baby is 13 years old! Afton is smart, funny, athletic, organized, and so brave. She inspires me. Today she got her own checking account with a checkbook 🙌🏻! I know it should be a day where I feel sad that she is growing up... but I am excited for her! Every year is a gift. I can’t wait to see what year 13 holds for this girl.

For her actual birthday on Thursday, Maisy and I took her to get pedicures and shop for a new birthday outfit after school. 

On Friday, we had her big party! 

We had over 10 girls. We fed them pizza, took them to an Escape Room and then came back to the house for games, cake and a sleepover!
 

Saturday we got up and went to Afton's basketball game. Grandpa and Grandma came too and then took her to birthday lunch. (No one took pics! Lol)

That night, we went out to Grimaldi's to celebrate just as a family of 4 ;) 

And Maisy lost her tooth biting into a piece of pizza.

On Sunday we went out to Mimi's to meet her new dog and celebrate... again! 

It was a great birthday for our sporty, baker who loves to laugh, be active and spend time with family. You are a blessing to us all Afton!
