Thanksgiving week in Southern California!
Landed in LAX on Sunday morning. Explored The Row in DTLA and Smorgasbord. Off to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, then dinner at TAO.
Monday was hiking Hollywood Hills, drive to Laguna- exploring Dana Point, shopping Aviator Nation. Dinner in Laguna.
Tuesday we went on a whale/dolphins watching tour. We saw 2 whales and a big pod of dolphins. Lunch in the harbor. Beach time. (Afton starts searching “colleges in CA”. 😂) Dinner in Dana Point.
Wednesday was a long run, tide pool exploration, Rapunzel’s tower, drive to San Diego and lunch at the Steamy Piggie. An evening at The Old Globe Theater watching Scrooge and late night pizza at the US Grant Hotel.
Thursday, early morning Turkey Trot in Balboa Park (so happy to run with Afton). Visit to San Diego Zoo and lunch with giraffes. Thanksgiving Dinner at Island Prime.
Together time with family is the best gift of the holiday season.
