We had a lot of family fun over the holiday break! 

Nutcracker 2023

Nutcracker 2023! Maisy’s ninth year with Almayeva Ballet. Her roles this year included Arabian Lead, Angel Lead, Snow Soloist, Waltz Lead, and Dancing Parent. (My favorite part is helping backstage and watching her dance from side of the stage!) So proud of her progress and dedication to this art. Thankful to our amazing family and sweet friends who came to support her! Thankful for Ms Marina for always encouraging her.

We kicked off the Holiday season with a presentation by Maisy. Her slides were very persuasive!

November - Veterans Parade & Senior Pics

 We cheered on Grandpa and Charles at the Veterans Day parade. 

YAGP Austin + More Playoffs

Maisy and her ballet friend Clare performed their solos in Austin at YAGP. 

At the same time- Afton’s team headed into another round of playoffs! And won. 

Celebrated TJ’s 18th birthday in the midst of all this too! 

Then it was off to the 3rd round of playoffs! 

The whole family came out to the game. But unfortunately it was the end. GHS lost and Afton’s high school volleyball career came to an end. 

She was recognized scan Academy All Star and made the second team All District. Congratulations on a successful 4 years with your team Afton. 

Halloween 2023

Halloween overlapped with VB Playoffs this year. We squeezed in pumpkin carving a few days before the 31st. But on Halloween night,  Maisy was trick-or-treating as a shark…and we were cheering on GHS to a big win!
