Christmas Day 2021

 
No Santa this year, but we had fun! Afton got a car and an air fryer. Maisy got clothes and a new phone. I got a Peleton and GG's. Jeff got ... lots of hugs. We celebrated all weekend with friends and family. Blessings upon blessings. So thankful.

Which in Texas means it’s 80 degrees and windy! Love our Christmas Eve traditions- church and dinner with my Dad & Tricia, then home for holiday pjs to watch ‘A Christmas Story’.

The Nutcracker 2021- When Maisy was the Nutrcracker

 The Nutcracker 2021 is in the books! This is Maisy’s favorite time of year! She is happiest when she is dancing. This year her roles included the Nutcracker doll, Snow, Angel, Chinese, Waltz, and Clown.

Preparations for the production begin in September and concluded with 2 performances yesterday. So much time and work is put into this show. It’s amazing to watch it all come together.

So thankful for our ballet besties who make the season even more fun.

Our family support at the show means more they will ever know. Thank you to our family for bringing the whole crew. Maisy felt like a star.

On the way home late last night I asked her how she felt about the end of Nutcracker season. Maisy said ‘I miss it already. ‘

Thank you Ms Marina for the best instruction and memories that will last a lifetime!

NCL Holiday Tea 2021

 Afton and I hosted the NCL Holiday Tea for the class of 2024. It was so good to have everyone together again for this annual event. The girls were all charming and the food was fabulous. We love this holiday tradition.

Twinkle Light Parade on Grapevine Lake 2021

 We participated in our very first twinkle Light Parade on Lake Grapevine! This was our first ‘boat parade’! Highlights included broken lights, alleged nude hula-hooping (not on our boat!!), and a variety of holiday shenanigans. It was a lot of fun.

Thanksgiving in New Orleans

 We took the girls to New Orleans for Thanksgiving- it was the perfect road trip. 

Grandpa's 67th Birthday

 Amanda was in town for Thanksgiving, so we all gathered to celebrate Grandpa's birthday! 

        

Pre-Thanksgiving 2021

 We celebrated Thanksgiving a few days early with Jeff's family! Maisy had Nutcracker all day, but we made it in time for dinner! It was fun getting everyone together.
