August was full of 'new normal' moments.
Friends on the boat when the temps soar up to 106 degrees.
A new dog who keeps us all entertained and our toes.
Ballet Monday thru Saturday for Maisy.
A new volleyball team for Afton- hello No Limits 15 Black!
A classroom in our playroom. And classmates who you only see on the computer and occasional playdates.
Seeing friends- with masks on of course.
Having a kid on a high school team.
Sometimes the new normal seems overwhelming. But it also has lots of bright points. Like impromptu dates to "Paris" with my girl and lots of other small moments that wouldn't normally happen.
I am thankful to have this time with my family.
