Mardi Gras 2020

It's Mardi Gras Season! So we took the girls to Shreveport for The Krewe of Centaur Parade. We made a stop for king cake and grabbed lunch at the Blind Tiger.

Maisy loves a holiday, so I decorated the mantle in her honor :) for Valentine's Day.

The End of 8th Grade Basketball

Afton's middle school basketball career wrapped up last week. Her team turned it on and made it to the finals, playing for first place against Dawson. Unfortunately, they beat us by one point. Waaaaah! It was a good run. And her team earned their spot as 2nd place. Coach Krause has made basketball so fun- Afton will miss it for sure! 

Getting Ready for the Junior Stock Show

Getting ready for the Tarrant County Junior Stockshow has been an interesting experience. Maisy and I had to take the bunnies to get 'tattooed' and registered. It was about a two hour process that involved a lot of rabbits, some crazy people, and lots of ink! The bunnies are getting bigger and hopefully Maisy is getting used to the idea that we are hoping to sell them at Market!

Afton's Many Talents- 8th Grade Bball & NCA

ent Afton continues to enjoy doing 'it all'. Currently, she is playing both school and rec basketball, is a practice player on TAV Molten 14, and it on the Nationals Competition Squad for CTMS Cheer. Last week was the district champs game- and CTMS won! Afton scored 10 points during the game against HMS. It's so fun to see her shooting more and making great passes. She is a smart player- we are proud of her!
