Maisy is giving volleyball a try. You know how everyone does things around here-- early! So there is a bit of debate as to the "strength" of our littles. But they are learning so much about how to play the game and some of them are getting it over the net.
Our coaches- The Jacque & Tom Oley- are absolute saints. So patient and kind.
For Father's Day, we hosted a little 'get together' with the Ashmores to celebrate Jeff and Slade.
Jeff finally cracked open that huge bottle of wine that he got for Christmas. It was quite comical.
On Sunday, we went to Grandpa's for a cook-out and swimming. Charles and his family came too. Lots of cousin fun.
We came home and treated Jeff to the most amazing Father's Day dinner-- frozen pizza! Lol.
I kind of feel like I am 37 going on 13.
Afton's big summer activity is swimming with the Timarron Tigersharks again. She has really been enjoying it. Jeff gets a bit competitive-- do you like his DIY diving block?
My summer baby napping. (I know she isn't a baby-baby anymore... but how cute is that little face?)
And here is me.
We had some friends over for dinner and swimming. The girls are all at a great age for this kind of party.
I LOVE this face! (And this girl) |
In our attempt to get our girls ready for Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. We took them on another hiking adventure. They walked 3.1 miles (with a little bit of grumbling of course). But overall they had fun!
White Rock Lake has some pretty scenery and these 'old school' swings that the girls loved.
We finished the day with toes in the water and lunch at The Great Outdoors in Dallas.
Happy Summer Girls.
