Summer Stay-cation
Who needs to leave town? Grapevine has it all! Lol. We took the girls to the Gaylord over night. The water park and Alice & Wonderland exhibit were a hit with the entire family.
And of course-- we have found a way to keep ourselves entertained at home too. :)

Caliente Cheer Camp
This year I got to chaperone at Afton's Super Camp for cheer. Her team, Caliente, is a level 3 youth team. It is a small team, only 13 girls, which means we can do some really fun things! The team is coached by two amazing ladies. We feel so lucky to be on this team!
We kicked off camp with a pool party the night before at our house. The girls swam while the moms assembled goody bags for camp.
Camp started bright & early on Wednesday morning in Frisco. The girls worked for 9 hours each day with a break for lunch and then a fun dinner. They tried to go to bed early... but you know how girls are!
Several moms and I decorated the rooms. The theme we chose was "Be A Pineapple: Stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside."
This was the scene at breakfast each day :)

And where was Maisy during all this?? At Grammy's!

It was a neat week to see all these girls work so hard together and all the new friendships made. I am thankful for my tribe of cheer mommas too :)
