Kiciking off the New Year at Fossil Rim

On New Year's Day, we woke up early and drove to Glenn Rose for a trip to Fossil Rim. We ended up being the first people there-- all the animals were ready for us!

Jeff wished he brought his shot gun- lol

Afton got a turn driving for awhile- watch out!

Such a great way to start 2014. 

A Trip to the Castle

We finally took the girls to Medieval Times. It was like a mini-Disney World trip. Princesses, Kings, horses and crowns. The loved it all. 

And we did too! 

Our section cheered for the Red Knight-- he even brought the girls flowers ;) 

In the end, our Knight won! 

And the we proceeded to take photos and get autographs from everyone there. 

The food was actually pretty good and it was a blast. Glad we went!

Happy New Year 2014

We stayed in and celebrated New Years with our sweet girls-- it was simple and fun. The menu consisted of hot wings, tato skins, seven layer dip and bean dip.
