Then we went back to the house for a quick bite of pizza before hitting the streets.

Halloween 2013
The weather was perfect and the girls were excited. Before 'trick-or-treating' began, we went up the street to visit our sweet friends.
After lots of candy, the girls declared it a great Halloween :)

Maisy's Fall Festival
Maisy's little school had a fall festival today. All the kiddos were invited to wear their costumes. So Maisy put on all her "Minion" gear.
When she got there, she ditched most of the costume in her 'basket' then she was ready for fun!

Happy Birthday Jeff
Jeff turned 37... so we started the day with donuts.
Then somehow we ended up at Target. And he bought all of us girls clothes. (So generous on his special day!)
Then we went to the Fall Festival at Afton's school.
After the show, we had pizza at CPK and then home for bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
On Sunday we went for a family bike ride.

Pumpkin Carving
The weather was finally starting to feel like fall, so we went out to the farm to find our pumpkins.
Back home the girls were excited to get started. Afton wanted a pumpkin that had 'her smile'-- I am loving her jack-o-lantern grin ;)
Maisy chose the smallest pumpkin-- and was only to get hands a 'little dirty'.
While the girls jumped on the trampoline, Jeff and I finished up the work. Lol. They turned out pretty good!
Maisy decided that Afton's pumpkin was too scary for her little "Mike Wazowski" pumpkin. (those triangle eyes!) So she snuggled him next to the 'happy pumpkin'.
Now we are just waiting for Halloween :)

Maisy Turns Four
Our sweet Maisy Lou is now four!
She is such a delight, everyday has been better sweeter since she arrived.
At four, Maisy is funny. She has a silly sense of humor and likes to giggle. She is a runner, a dancer, and a cheerleader. Whatever her big sister is doing-- Maisy is right there too!
More than anything this girls likes to pretend! This girl turn anything into a doll (a hand, a spoon, a tube of toothpaste) and she spends a lot of time exercising her imagination. Her favorite games are dolls, barbies, babies, dress-up, playing mother, and of course being a princess.
Her favorite things to eat are pancakes, rolls, cookies, pizza, cheezits, and occasionally some fruit. She has occasionally eaten a few green beans or the top of a broccoli. But I keep trying!
For her birthday we had a Merida Party. Which is hilarious to hear Maisy say since she still can't pronounce her "R"s. So her "Mewida Poty" was adorable. Lots of little friends, a bounce house, sweets, crafts and presents. She was in heaven.
Our family gift to her was a trampoline. We took down the little playhouse to make room. This was bittersweet for Jeff, but the girls were over-the-top thrilled.

On her 'real birthday' we celebrated with cupcakes at home. Maisy loved being the birthday girl, it will be a hard role to give up!
We love you Maisy Lou!
